EVO and hill climbing

Postby Bill Wilby on Mon Jun 17, 2013 1:26 am

I have been working out with a EVO by climbing a local hill, I have not made it to the top yet so the post on my web site is to be continued. Here is a link, http://stridacanada.ca/?p=753

Disclaimer, I am 58 years old, not a competitive cyclist, longest ride this year 30 km, and I love to sell people Strida bikes as I am a dealer/distributor.

I have updated my blog,http://stridacanada.ca/?p=753 I still have not made the top of the hill, the weather has been bad and i have lost some momentum. I have installed an app in my phone to track my progress, here are two links, the first one my ride half way up the hill today,http://www.strava.com/activities/63089704 I averaged 8.6 k/h
and my ride down the hill and home http://www.strava.com/activities/63093301 I averaged 28 km/h with a top speed of 47.2 I have just noticed that you need to log in to see the complete results but from the link you can see the grade by following the route. The grade is up to 22 %. Now that I know my phone app works and the weather has improved I hope to get to the top of the hill this weekend. Bill
