  • The behaviour “occuring while applying more load” - does match exactly to the rear joint issue.
  • The sound matches, too.

Your last sentence seems very complex therefore I’d like to split my reply into several single parts:

  • Yes, it may happen that even younger than two year old EVO drives must be replaced.

  • The costs will depend mainly from the workstore’s professionality but also their abilities.
    (Please note that there are a few special tools required to separate drive and frame, also to remove the beltwheel from the drive.)

  • The costs for a single KS3 drive will be around 250 € (it is in stock for example in Germany, confirmed).

  • If all required tools (including electric or pneumatic impact screw driver) are on hand and the mechanic familiar with the process a drive change must not take longer than one hour.
