Pacific Cycles Buys Swivel-Head technology from MAS-Design

You can see the Strida DNA
Wheels together, handle to ‘wheel’ the bike along - Never carry, just like most suitcases - obvious really

Methinks Pacific-cycles.com will be much better at making IF bikes than Ming-cycles.com.tw
Pacific specialise in hi-tech bikes such as Airnimal, Birdy, Banshee, etc. and take pride in quality… with all their own CNC facilities etc. in house.
Ming make millions of regular bikes, plus Strida, which is pretty simple by comparison.

Oh, and more pix from taipei on Velovision…

Check out those stridas !!!

Thanks indeed for linking to these pics and texts. Yes Mark Sanders is at it!

The drivetrain of IF mode was changed from shaft-drive to chain-drive. I think this was due to being able to use Schumpf speed-drive on the bike.

But the Reach will be available in IF and have many drives?
It looks like that being so.

Have you been able to ride a Reach and compare it to other bikes?
Is Reach a BMX bike and very expensive maybe. Having 20" wheels
and IF mode could make it a good compromise between small size
when folded and good handling and good to ride on bad streets?

I have two folding 20" of the old versions named MiniBike from 1960 or 1970

There is now a forum especially for the IF range, with loads more information and discussions!
