Hi I’m a long time rider if Strida
I had a three speed that I sold and I had a silver LT which I loved bu had it stolen earlier this summer
I found another used strida in a local thrift shop Almost new tires still had the rubber nibs So low low miles
Got it for 325 cdn
Found out some weird things on it
Never had a rack
The brass pins that hold the handle bars didn’t have the wide press bottoms and the QR clamp that tightens the bars on the stem constantly slides open The rotors have a scoloped end
and the wire wheels were not true Not up down and wobbled as side to side I trued the best i could and added a thin (very thin) ss washer and tightened excesses play at the rear pivot
Then I noticed many washers on the wheel magnets
I assume to correct the loose fit Did any body know where I can get a detailed

Part diagram/schematics And can any of you tell me if I have a strida 5 or a fake I think it’s a fake because the build quality is nowhere near the Q of my old LT Which I loved so much and served me so well in Manhattan !

I’m pretty sure that the red bike is a fake, there are too much unusual details (rotors, calipers, cranks, 3 seat molding clamps instead of 2, odd bolts,…)

The parts you’re showing seem to be genuine Strida, at the freewheel, the belt guides are missing.

I can’t recommend to visit the Strida pages (to get a drawing, respectively the manual) because they are again virus infected.
But if you send me your email address via private mail I can send the documents to you.
