I bought a 16” BIKE, 9 years ago. The manual said that pedal belt would last for more than 50,000 -60,000 Kms. I had to change the belt after 2,000 kms. or less… With the second one, the same happened… I was disappointed.
I used to ride on some stepped roads, short roads, but with a lot of work. I thought: Am I forcing the belt too much?
Yes!! I began to walk with my bike on my side those short distances and … voila! For the last 7 years I haven’t had to change the belt, it’s perfect.
