Strida LT Aluminium Alloy wheels

Hi ! A Strida LT user here.
This model comes with plastic wheels and I would like to replace the plastic wheels with aluminium alloy wheels of exactly the same design: no thin spokes but thick spokes bars or even plates.
Does anyone know :

  1. Does Strida have 16inch aluminium alloy wheels as replacements/accessories/options ? Or is there any Strida model with such wheels ?
  2. Does anyone manufacture such 16 inch aluminium alloy wheels compatible with Strida ?

  1. Not the type you are searching for, only with 24 steel spokes.
  2. I’m afraid there is no such manufacturer.
    But if you find one please post it here.

I am in Bangkok now. I will try to find a local bicycle wheel manufacturer that is willing to produce aluminium alloy panel wheel for Strida LT (16 inches).

From my own experience, already many years ago:

I’ve got in touch with a Taiwanese rim manufacturer and asked them:
“Couldn’t you make this XY 16” rims for me with a different drilling (= spoke count), say with 32 instead of 36 holes?"
Manufacturer: “Sure, gladly! The price will not be much higher than for the standard version!”
Me: “Yeah!”
Manufacturer: “…btw, the minimum order quantity will be 200 pieces…”

:slight_smile: ok.
I will try my luck with the aluminium alloy cast wheel. I dont trust spokes and I dont trust plastic cast wheels.
If there is a min. order qty of 200 pieces or so, I may have to open a shop. Are you interested ? hahaha.
