The bike started to go very tight

Hello. Newbie with 18 evo here’s.
My Strida has recently become very tight and the situation is only getting worse every day. I drive on a regular route from home to work, to the slide, and this slide is becoming more and more difficult every week to get on it. Also, if I just spin the front or rear wheel in the air, it stops faster than usual. In the folded version, when I just swing the bike, I feel resistance at the same time. At the same time, the front wheel, while riding a bicycle, emits a constant sound similar to a whistle. Friends, do you have any ideas on this? I wonder if I can fix the problem myself, or will only the workshop help? I brought my bike to another country for the duration of my studies and it is very difficult for me to hand over the bike for repair now, especially since there is only one workshop in the city that repairs the Strida, so repairs will be expensive and take a long time.

Hello Far,

welcome at Stridaforum

Well, maybe first to the whistling sound - that could be the brake pads.
Could you check (optically) if there is clearance between brake pads and rotors?
There should be a small gap between the pads and the rotors (discs).

Also, I’d recommend to get in touch with @yakitori - he is very experienced and he can speak Japanese :sunglasses:

Best regards,

Chris

Thank you so much for quick response.
I guess so, maybe? If it’s okay, I’ll upload some photos of mine breaks space. Can you notice something wrong? Thank You.

Sorry, I can not see that on your images

Hints:
Gap is hard to see.
Use an additional flashlight sideways.
