thinking of buying

hi, im thinking of buying a strida but i want to know
if i should wait in case a geared version comes out ? i live in a hilly area and although i love the simplicity of its design i will need at least one gear.

2 gears is enough: one high, for downhill and flat, one low for climbing hills.

i cant find any news on the matter.

Here is a geared version. The MAS or DS versions have an ATS Speeddrive.

You can of course update an existing Strida with a Schlumpf Speeddrive.

Schlumpf is the original inventor, ATS has a licence.

For your reference, here is the information about the geared versions of Strida.
